Cruachan Visitor Centre is a wonderful place for children to learn all about electricity and renewable energy. From our educational exhibition to the excitement of guided tours inside the Hollow Mountain, it’s sure to inspire future engineers!
We have an Interactive House where children can play and learn all about Cruachan, renewable energy and local wildlife – with drawing activities, quizzes and even the opportunity to dress up as an engineer!
Olly and Sparky who feature in our interactive house can also be found at PowerWise, the outstanding educational website from ScottishPower that teaches children and young adults all about electricity and how to stay safe around it - inside and outside the home.
Through a combination of interactive activities, animations, creative missions and innovative lesson ideas, children and young adults will be drawn into today’s and tomorrow‘s world of electricity.
