About our tour
The Hollow Mountain tour lasts approximately 30 minutes and takes visitors deep into Ben Cruachan.
Along the way expert guides explain how the massive machines that sit within the subterranean power station turn the water of Loch Awe into 440 MW of electricity and share the stories of the people who drilled and built this engineering marvel.
